It’s totally ok to look at ground turkey with the side eye. Stick to meatloaf that has a nice sauce on it. And I will say these meatballs were quite good.
I know what you mean about ground turkey. It can have a kind of dank flavor and unwieldy consistency. But I'm psyched to give another try after reading this. I'm a huge fan of the crockpot as well. I suppose if you're making meatballs with the stuff, and so can manipulate it with other stuff (eggs, maybe ricotta, whatever), and then putting them in crockpot, you're gonna be in pretty good shape. Definitely trying that one out!
