This is cool - a microcosm of the early 90s indie scene. Thanks for sharing lou!

for me like a slice of life of the 90's in the universe of "indie" bands, surprising and melancholic but also motivating (as a musician inspired by sebadoh and other bands that were in the same musical microcosm)

and surprisingly sincere.

Thx for that Lou !

There may be a couple unfinished comments I've somehow lost and don't know if they were sent, which would be embarrassing. I suck at this. But hopefully, third time's a charm. Anyway, amazing film. I have trouble conveying how moving it was for me. There's the footage of songs, which I guess you decided to represent more completely. Watching you guys play was super nostalgic. Just a great fucking band. The ploughing through social vegetation grown from various American soil at that time was well shot. I remember you and Eric making insane music videos, probably for early Sebadoh songs, or Happy Valley Screwball stuff, just collecting images on VHS. But even if it only lasted that one tour, you getting your hands on that camera was some kind of divine intervention. Call it a documentary. Call it what you want. To me it's a really sweet piece of cinema. And I don't know if it was for my benefit that you included that interview with Kevin that you told me about last time I saw you, but I think it leant a nice reference point at that moment in the film. I miss him a lot, and was very touched by that. Thank you. But all in all, even if it began as a fledgling endeavor, I think this is a serious bit of film making. Maybe even something to be shopped around to festivals and what not.☠️❤️☠️❤️

I thought it was ok t leave Kevin in somehow, I’m glad you liked it, the songs I chose were simply the only complete songs that were available more or less! really wanted t get performances that occurred in that exact period

Found these a while back and wasn’t even sure at first what they were. But it immediately brought me back to being a 90s teen, hanging out at diners, discovering non MTV bands and driving into St. Andrews for the first time (Jawbox?).

Look forward to watching the new take on these!
