Eric Gaffney sold me his last copy of Bubble & Scrape on vinyl a few years ago, still in bubble wrap from Discogs. That record is not easy to find and the few available are going between $100-$300.

Which is why people want anniversary reissues. Please for the love of god give us the early Sebadoh on vinyl!

I wish! I scour for 90s vinyl to no avail usually. I paid $150 for a used copy of Bubble and Scrape. Had to get it from Germany. Can’t afford Harmacy on vinyl... or

Smash your Head. Luckily I still have III from when it came out. Anyway, you’d make some serious money reissuing those early records on vinyl. Probably.

hmmm..ok, I guess the next step is there for to be demand for a re-press, then a record co. willing to make it happen ..OR, I get tons of paid subscriptions and do it myself!!

Dude you could go to any Indy label and say “I’m thinking about reissuing everything up to Harmacy on vinyl” and I bet there’d be no hesitation. Go to Discogs and see how much the vinyl that you haven’t reissued is going for. Even the Freed Man reissue is climbing. Discogs is a good thermometer for actual demand. I know a lot of people that wouldn’t be half as decent if not for Freed Weed-Bakesale.
