When you mentioned on the pod a few weeks ago you were going to list your favourites I joined in and started writing my own list, but looking at it now it's only the top 3 that have remained in place. Below that are many arrows and scribblings as songs changed place/ I lost my mind. Dreams is at 3 because it has an intriguing sound, that warm spooky sound you mention. Your recording studio curse did not affect me. Like Adelle, I'm listening to the overall sound of the song. I like songs where the sounds blend into each other/ aren't crisp, so I don't hear what you mean by the vocal being buried on some of the songs. License was at times higher, but it doesn't sound as much like the rest of the songs which kind of matches what you said about it originally being a Folk Implosion song, not as much ebb and flow compared to the others. Barlow wins on other Sebadoh albums!
