I've always been a bit suspicious/ curious of Pitchfork reviews...how they can so assuredly define an album down to a tenth
It is at least respectful, compared to Pitchfork reviews for another band I subscribe to on Substack 👀, but it's confusing how the score doesn't match the written bit, some of which is complementary, especially the paragraph about lyricism and song craft
On another note, apparently Hot Rat Boy Summer turned into Substack Summer and Barlow Family General Substack is my top read 🙌
