Today marks one week with the new additions to our family, Psychocandy (tuxedo) and Pumpkin (tabby). Brothers, two months old, from the Dakin Animal Shelter in Springfield, MA. These incredible, busy, cuddly, curious dudes came right on time as I fell seriously ill basically hours after settling the babies into their new home. After four long days in bed, I managed a visit to the clinic to get diagnosed with a raging sinus infection. Along with modern medicine, I’ve been lucky enough to get endless doses of kitten medicine!. Turns out, if you must lay in bed listless for days, make sure to have a fresh batch of kittens to keep you company. It really made a difference!

As a sinus infection heals, your head congestion is draining, leaving you with a crazy hacking cough. It’s a result of the irritation from the post nasal drip. Lou and I were only able to get a half hour episode recorded for y’all because talking seems to trigger the cough for me. Lou had some editing to do! Cough cough….
