Hi friends!
We hit our 25th episode of our podcast RAW impressions and it was kinda feeling significant for us. We had over ten years of talking about DOING a podcast but couldn’t seem to make it a reality, until now. We are grateful to our listeners for giving us a chance and being open to our show. Honestly, you all have been so kind and generous since we’ve begun RAW impressions that it’s a little emotional for us, in the best way. We thank you. Listen to the episode on apple or spotify or whatever is your favorite podcast platform. love, lou &adelle
Happy birthday Lou. The new FI album has some good songs. Your singing on My Little Lamb is, IMHO, emotionally moving. We got Walk Through Me on vinyl, CD, and cassette. I've gotta laugh every time I look at the new cassette. Happy birthday Lou.
Hi Lou and Adele, Happy new Year and thanks for all the great podcasts. I wanted to share a recommendation with Lou based on his description of his love of lo-fi sound. There’s a guy I grew up around that is kind of an outsider-artist/rock star that I think you’d like. His band is on Spotify: J Willis Pratt and We’re Bionic. If Daniel Johnston and Kiss had a baby that wanted to be the leader of Megadeath, and was buddies with John Fishman for a few years before he started Phish (the music is nothing like Phish BTW, but he did open for a Phish stadium show). It’s kind of terrible, kind of great, and totally pure and heartfelt. It’s wasted on most people. I wonder if you’ll like it.
