oh what a birthday!

new podcast episode

It was my 47th birthday yesterday. We recorded a new podcast episode that came out this morning and it’s birthday themed. Lou surprised me with not one but two bathrobes while recording. I did enjoy using one of my new robes today after my shower, it’s lightweight but soft. The best part of the episode though was hearing Lou’s version of Oh What a World by Kasey Musgraves. It’s a song that has brought us to tears more times than I can count. It’s so poignant and wise and tender. A beautiful song. And I LOVED Lou’s version as well. I’ll hold it close to my heart. He also bought me a bouquet of lovely flowers, a carrot cake and we went out to dinner with the kids. I’m grateful.
