June B-DAY Shout-Out +
and Lou plays a new song!
It’s time for June Babies to get their birthday shout-outs! But wait, we only have ONE person who wrote in for a June shout-out?! That’s simply crazy. Why are y’all holding back?? Well, Duffy, we hope you enjoy the birthday episode! And we applaud you for the self care.
Lou and I gave a birthday shout-out to our gal Busy Philipps, and we also talk about what age(s) we’d be ok with doing over.
Lou shares a new song (blowin up) in progress for one of his many special secret projects in the works.
Lastly, we chat about the great MJ Lenderman and how seeing him live may have inspired a new direction for Lou with his songwriting on Blowin Up. I nudged Lou to go say hi after we saw him play at the Green River Festival and I snapped a sweet pic. Thanks Jake!
Ok, that’s it for now! We have one more day at our little cabin in the woods. I plan to do a little water color painting, Lou will probably do more music stuff and we have talked about possibly going LIVE on Substack tomorrow night for Dinner/Music CABIN style.. what do you guys think??
