Lou and Adelle join Substack

  Hello Everyone!

         Adelle and I are enjoying doing our RAW impressions podcast so much that we want to take it a step further. We’re creating a place where the music from the podcast will be more accessible, Adelle can share the things she loves, we can both keep our creative spark alive and share it with you, our faithful audience. We’ll do a newsletter each month recapping what we’ve done and outlining our plans for the future. If you choose to delve deeper and become a paying subscriber we’ll be offering all kinds of videos, blog posts, music, recipes, and extra podcast stuff. We’ve been waiting a long time to do something like this and your support would mean the world to us.

         As of now I, Lou, am busy remixing the original songs I’ve done for RAW impressions, writing out the lyrics and descriptions for each. My archive of commercial recreations, theme songs and cover songs has grown and I want them to live in one place. That place will be the Barlow Family General Substack! I’ll also be collecting the videos we’ve made over the last few years. As our Substack circle grows I look forward to doing things like video-ing the podcast, making videos for new songs, and goofy behind-the-scenes stuff. It would be great to deliver what we do directly to you and not feel like we’re throwing it down a well.

As of now I, Adelle, am busy structuring my weeks with meal plans and cooking for my family. Cooking is a true passion of mine. I’ve learned on my own from watching cooking shows, clipping and saving hundreds of recipes from magazines, cookbooks, and the net, and even trying viral TikTok recipes-I just love it all. I dream of going on food-themed vacations and trying foods I’ve never had.

  In the non-cooking realms, I’m prepping for Izzy’s 7th birthday party and itching to go into my knitwear studio to do a major tidy-up/prep for making new clothes. I’m really looking forward to sharing all these things with you via written posts and videos.

Much like our podcast, we will be learning this new world of our Barlow Family General Substack as we go, and we thank you for coming along for the ride. We appreciate all the support we’ve already received, like Lou said, it has meant the world to us.
