It had been building for awhile. You know how it goes. When you’ve been doing your best, day to day, working hard and staying (fairly positive) when you notice the tiny cracks in your personal shell growing, bit by bit. You probably need a vent session my friend. It’s time.
Lou and I decided it was OUR time to let it out, to “explain, not, complain”. You can call it something else but you get the idea. Let’s give each other grace in this world tied deeply to positivity and gratitude, allowing ourselves moments to feel neither of those things-free of the shame and guilt. You can hop back on the gratitude train right after. In fact, your appreciation for all the good in your life might feel more real and less clouded, now that you’ve stopped for a moment and allowed your whole being to just..be…as you are. It’s ok to not feel good all the time, life is complicated and often very hard, punctuated by intense moments of joy and beauty. It’s all part of the stew, the mix of existing in this world. Be gentle to yourself. Take it day by day. If no one has told you today, you are doing a great job.
