Crochet 💜 Heart
Round 1
Begin with a slip knot on your hook. Chain 5, then slip stitch in first chain to form ring. Chain 2, 2 double crochet, chain 2, 3 dbl (double) crochet, chain 2, 3 dbl crochet, chain 2, 3 dbl crochet, chain 2, then slip stitch into top of beginning chain 2 stitch.
Round 2
Chain 1, slip stitch into next stitch, chain 1, in the first chain 2 space (make 1 double crochet, 1 triple (or treble) crochet, and 6 dbl (double) crochet) chain 1, skip the next group of 3 dbl crochet and in the next chain 2 space make 1 single crochet, then chain 1, next find the middle stitch of the next 3 dbl crochet group and in the top of the center (make 1 single crochet, 1 dbl crochet, 1 single crochet in that one top stitch) then chain 1, single crochet in next chain 2 space, chain 1, skip next group of three double crochet and in last chain 2 opening (make 6 double crochet, 1 treble (triple) crochet, and 1 double crochet), chain 1 then slip stitch into beginning stitch. Pull up yarn, cut it and tighten. weave in ends.
Optional
Add a row of single crochet to the edge of the heart. Use a contrast color to create a pretty edge. I used embroidery thread for one and a thin sparkle yarn for another.
I hope this video helps you make a crochet heart. Like I state in the video, it’s not a beginner project, you should already have some crochet know how and comfort to complete this.
