This weeks full podcast episode was recorded on the 4th of July in Turtle Lake, Wisconsin. We had a three day break on our Barlow Family General Tour (featuring LOU BARLOW solo) and spent it with my folks. It was so good to catch up on our enormous bag of laundry, eat all of my Dad’s delicious grilled food, blow up a few small firecrackers and get lots of lake time in. Grandpa Dave and Grandma Val go back to the music scene of the 1960’s in this episode. My folks are big music lovers and have been going to shows since they were teenagers. My Dad shares his story of seeing Led Zeppelin in Amsterdam and my Mom tells of seeing The Everly Brothers and Bo Diddley at her favorite dancehall in Minnetonka, Minnesota.
